The Windsurfing Grand Slam 2014 was held at Coluccia, at the western edge of Porto Liscia, the immense bay characterised by crystal-clear water that opens out to embrace the Archipelago of La Maddalena, in northern Sardinia.
The app provided up-to-the-minute information to users, with news on the event in real time, and also served as a tour guide to what is one of the wildest, most untainted parts of Sardinia.
Integration with the navigator installed on users’ smartphones allowed them to reach various points of interest and to find information on the services and facilities that best matched their requirements.
The application also works offline, so it is possible to download the information and avoid roaming charges while you’re on the move.
